Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to gain hands-on experience in a progressive pharmacy environment. You will work under a registered pharmacist to support patient care, counseling, and daily pharmacy operations while developing clinical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions under supervision, assisting customers, and participating in clinical services. Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited School of Pharmacy and hold a valid state

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Performs all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor.
Fills prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Offers advice and consultation to customers and healthcare professionals regarding medications.
Supports profitability initiatives and participates in clinical services.
Participates in patient care activities and helps with daily pharmacy operations.
