Albertsons Companies is seeking a pharmacy student intern in Bothell, WA to gain hands-on practice in a progressive pharmacy setting. You will assist in counseling patients, supporting prescription filling, and contributing to clinical services under a pharmacist preceptor.

Responsibilities include preparing prescriptions, advising customers on medications, and participating in initiatives to improve pharmacy profitability and patient care within a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
• Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand.
• Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor.
• Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Offers advice and consultation to customers regarding prescription knowledge and health-related products.
• Implements company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability.
• Actively participates in clinical services.
