CSI Pharmacy (CSI) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in dispensing and administrative tasks. The role is on-site in Windsor, CT with regular hours and a focus on accuracy and professional service.

The technician will handle data entry, inventory management, and customer interactions, while following established procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance. This position offers hands-on experience in a growing specialty pharmacy.

Qualifications

  • Ability to enter data into a computer and maintain records.
  • Follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing direction.
  • Proficient in computer usage and customer service etiquette.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.
  • Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist.
  • Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security.
  • Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies.
  • Enters data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements.
  • Performs general clerical duties for the department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will perform many pharmacy-related functions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and perform administrative functions of the department that requires professional judgment and extensive technical training.

NO PRIOR PHARMACY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Compensation Range

$20 - $25/hr (DOE)

Windsor, CT

Schedule

(On-site) Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
