Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to help support the team in a fast-paced community setting in North Little Rock, AR. You will learn and contribute to patient care, health and wellness initiatives, and safe delivery of pharmacy products.

You will assist with prescriptions and OTC orders, maintain confidentiality, and help with inventory. This role emphasizes customer service, HIPAA compliance, and community outreach as part of Walmart’s patient care focus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Interest in patient care and community health.
• Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA/PHI).
• Ability to stock and manage pharmacy supplies as needed.

As a Pre-Grad Intern, you will be paid to help support our team's goals and contributing to the success of the company.

What you'll do:

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Help with processing prescription and over‑the‑counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.

• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.

Salary and Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.50 - $32.50* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : - Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
