Walmart Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to join the pharmacy team for hands-on patient care experience and community impact. You’ll learn to support health and wellness while advocating for patient wellbeing in a community pharmacy setting.

You will assist with prescriptions, OTC orders, confidentiality, and inventory management, while engaging in outreach activities and upholding HIPAA/PHI guidelines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
• Preferred: Pharmacy immunization delivery certification.

What you’ll do

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Help with processing prescription and over‑the‑counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.

Salary

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.50 - $33.50* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

• Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
