Walmart Pharmacy in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to join our pharmacy team. You will gain hands-on experience supporting patient care, processing prescriptions, and assisting with OTC orders in a fast-paced community setting.

As an enrolled pharmacy student, you will uphold HIPAA guidelines, contribute to immunization activities, stock inventory, and build strong relationships with customers and the pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification preferred.

What you'll do

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Help with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
