Job summary

Walmart Florida City is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to join our pharmacy team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced community setting. You will learn to support patient care and help customers with their health and wellness needs.

You will process prescriptions and OTC orders, assist in clinical activities, stock supplies, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and PHI guidelines while collaborating with the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited Pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information and records per policies and laws.
• Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing needs and guiding clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers.
