Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will learn and enhance customer health and wellness, advocating for patient wellbeing as part of our pharmacy team.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions and OTC orders, delivering patient care by assessing needs, and assisting in navigating clinical therapies while maintaining HIPAA compliance. This is an internship designed for learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school is required.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification preferred.
• Ability to follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and regulations.
