Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will learn to improve customer health and wellness while advocating for patient wellbeing.

As an Intern, you will support processing prescriptions, assist with OTC orders, and help maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. This role offers exposure to pharmacy operations and patient care in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification - Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Help with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
