Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services Inc. in Lehighton, PA is seeking a pharmacy technician to accurately fill medication orders and package them per prescription labels.

Under direct supervision, you will assist in inventory control, restocking, and maintaining clean, organized workstations while upholding quality standards. Applicants should have strong communication, good customer service, and familiarity with RX computer systems; prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AS Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience.
• Pre-employment and/or random drug screening required.
• Experience in a pharmacy environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Count, seal and label prescription cards.
• Fill medication orders accurately per prescription labels.
• Assist in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and the facility.
• Maintain all quality assurances as directed.
• Keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor.
• Perform mandatory regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
