Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC in New York seeks an entry-level Pharmacy Department technician to dispense ingredients for mixing and granulation on the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Mon–Fri). You will follow SOPs and cGMP under close supervision, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and batch integrity.

You will maintain a clean production area, manage inventory reconciliation, and confirm calibration of scales and balances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required (preferred).
• Less than one year of pharmaceuticals manufacturing experience.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math and mechanical skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense all materials per batch record with 100% accuracy.
• Record and maintain production batch records after each batch.
• Follow batch records with 100% accuracy.
• Keep the pharmacy room clean, organized, and production-ready.
• Maintain inventory and reconcile materials.

Schedule

2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday

Essential Functions

• Responsible for accurately dispensing all materials as per batch record.
• Records and maintains the production batch records after each batch.
• Reviews and follows the batch records with 100% accuracy.
• Responsible for the pharmacy room to be clean, organized and ready for production.
• Responsible for maintaing inventory and reconciliation of materials.
• Ensures the cleanliness and checks calibration status of all scales, and balances.

• Other duties as management assigns.

Qualifications

Education

• High School or GED General HS Curriculum - Preferred

Experience

• less than one year in Pharmaceuticals manufacturing experience

Additional Requirement: This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
