Job summary

Walgreens in Peoria, AZ is hiring a full-time, certified pharmacy technician under pharmacist supervision to support non-clinical operations, prescription processing, and positive patient experiences. You will assist with patient registration, data entry, medication preparation, and may help with vaccines and health services where allowed by law.

Training and supervision of technicians are included. Required: High School diploma, PTCB/ExCPT, 1 year tech experience, English fluency, flexible

Qualifications

PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacist in patient care, including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
Complete patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision.
Support immunization clinics and health screenings where permitted.
Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulatory requirements.
Manage inventory and ensure proper recordkeeping and security.
