Job summary

Walmart is hiring a licensed pharmacist at our Mason City, IA location to provide comprehensive patient care, accurately dispense prescriptions, and administer immunizations in line with Board of Pharmacy rules.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, safe inventory management, customer service excellence, and team mentoring within a large retail pharmacy environment. Training and community outreach are emphasized as part of our program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD with NABP credentials.
• Current pharmacy license by start date.
• Immunization training program completed (ACPE accredited).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by dispensing prescriptions and administering immunizations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Manage daily pharmacy operations, inventory, and customer service.
• Provide supervision, training, and performance feedback to associates.
• Support community outreach and adherence to company programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).

Pharmacy license (by job entry date).

Completion of ACPE accredited immunization training program
