Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Supervisor Pharmacy to oversee daily Pharmacy Department operations, ensuring safe, efficient and patient-focused care in New Jersey facilities. You will troubleshoot issues, support the Pharmacy Manager, and drive compliance with accreditation standards.

The role requires a NJ-licensed pharmacist, a PharmD preferred, and at least two years of hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Pharmacy Department operations to ensure safe, efficient patient-focused care.
• Troubleshoot department issues and implement resolutions.
• Serve as liaison between Pharmacy and other healthcare professionals; cover for Pharmacy Manager as needed.
• Develop and implement process improvements, budget management, and quality assurance across Pharmacy operations.
• Coach, supervise and evaluate staff; align objectives with organizational goals.
