Qualifications

• Follows Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients
• Performs quality assurance steps to ensure accurate prescriptions
• Follows State and Federal guidelines governing Pharmacy practice
• Oversees third party claims submission, resubmission and collection
• Manages pharmacy inventory to maximize turns and meet customer needs
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information

Responsibilities

• Follows the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients
• Performs all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed
• Oversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims
• Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to provide for maximum turns while still in-stock for customer needs
• Oversees the transmitting, processing and receiving of orders to and from Kinney Warehouse and suppliers
• Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and health professionals
• Maintains compliance with state and federal guidelines in the practice of Pharmacy
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel
