Job summary

Belmont University invites applications for a Pharmacy Operations Fellow in Drug Information. This two-year post-graduate program, in collaboration with HealthTrust and FDA, aims to develop leaders for academia, drug information, and regulatory settings.

The fellow will engage in training materials development, drug information management, and APPE teaching while contributing to research and professional service within Belmont, HealthTrust, and FDA contexts.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree required prior to the start of the fellowship.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ethics and professionalism emphasized.
• Must acquire Tennessee pharmacist licensure within 180 days of starting the fellowship.
• United States citizenship.
• Fellows should meet background and security clearances as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal training materials and member resources on regulatory, operational, sourcing, and clinical information.
• Assist HealthTrust Director with drug shortage mitigation and supply chain mapping.
• Support GPO Sourcing team with contract-related projects.
• Teach and precept APPE students within Belmont University and HealthTrust.
• Manage the Drug Information Center, respond to drug information requests, and perform literature checks.
• Contribute to an original research project and participate in a teaching certificate program.
