Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Pharmacy Material Handler in Buffalo, NY. You will work under supervision to ensure prescription orders are filled accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to stand 8+ hours with lifting up to 30 pounds. Overtime may be required according to business needs.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules accurately.
• Retrieve and process bulk and unit-use medications.
• Verify medication strength, size, and product information.
• Replenish automated pharmacy dispensing equipment.
• Use handheld barcode scanners and computer systems.
• Count and calculate medication quantities with accuracy.
• Package prescriptions and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all HIPAA regulations and pharmacy procedures.
• Meet daily production and quality goals in a fast-paced setting.
• Identify and elevate issues appropriately.
