Wasillachamber is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager in Wasilla, Alaska to lead all pharmacy operations and ensure high-quality, compliant patient care. You will act as PIC, oversee dispensing, staff management, and regulatory compliance, while counseling patients and supporting clinical services.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmacy experience.
• RX30 experience required.
• Self-driven with strong decision-making ability.
• Previous retail pharmacy management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must carry own malpractice insurance (reimbursed by employer).
• Relocation assistance potentially available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC), overseeing safe, accurate dispensing of prescriptions and compliance.
• Manage staff: hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating pharmacists, technicians, and interns.
• Counsel patients on medications and side effects; support immunizations and MTM.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance across all interactions and regulatory compliance.
• Support audits and inspections; manage controlled substance inventory.
• Drive business performance by monitoring KPIs like prescription volume, labor costs, and customer satisfaction.
