• Observes employee performance, coaching as needed to ensure department, business and company procedures and standards are met.
• Reviews work product, monitors workload and sets standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Conducts yearly performance reviews and provides regular coaching and training to all staff.
• Responds to employee concerns using problem-solving skills, tact, and discretion in accordance with company policies.
• Develops and maintains a team atmosphere through communication and mentoring.
• Oversees and participates in dispensing prescription medications and counter duties as needed.
• Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service; counsels members on proper medication usage and confidentiality.
• Oversees inventory, equipment orders, and maintenance; ensures proper record keeping and storage procedures.
• Acts as Pharmacist-In-Charge, coordinating regulatory, legal, and third-party considerations and audits.
• Schedules, trains, and directs department personnel; reviews timecards and performance.
