• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and ensures regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff performance; opens/closes the pharmacy.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge and supports staff with technology and IT processes.
