Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• DEA Excluded Parties List not applicable to the pharmacist in charge.
• Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'.
• Submission of required information/documents to PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead Pharmacy Staff consisting of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Oversee patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and customer service.
• Manage personnel, inventory and financial profitability.
• Lead patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
• Foster a team culture of care, empathy and accountability.
• Additional functions and physical requirements as per full job description.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
