Job summary

Waco Family Medicine is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to oversee daily operations and lead the pharmacy team at the Hillsboro location. You will ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, coach staff, and drive service excellence using AIDET principles to improve patient experiences.

The role requires a PharmD or B.Pharm with Texas licensure and at least 3 years of pharmacist experience, including leadership. You will collaborate with other clinicians and participate in quality initiatives to uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD required; Texas license to practice as a pharmacist.
• At least 3 years of pharmacist experience, including 1 year in a leadership role.
• Ability to supervise and train staff; strong communications and organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department.
• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge at the WFM Pharmacy – Hillsboro location.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Lead, train, and supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
• Monitor performance metrics and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory inspections.
