Qualifications

• Degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in relevant states.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain.
• At least 1 year in pharmacy operations, dispensing, and insurance billing.
• Experience in prescription dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Recent leadership rating or performance review available (if internal).

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and med management.
• Review and dispense prescribed meds accurately.
• Ensure pharmacy complies with laws, policies, and standards; manage staff scheduling and shifts.
• Follow Good Faith Dispensing practices with controlled substances.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on new business opportunities.
• Maintain pharmacy IT knowledge and improve productivity.
• Process insurance claims and address patient billing issues.
• Coordinate with providers on dosing, refills, and allergies.
• Provide immunizations, diagnostic testing, and wellness services.
• Support patient registration and virtual product reviews as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, equipment, and layout of the pharmacy.
• Prepare reports and maintain required records for regulatory compliance.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer

1 year pharmacy experience in dispensing and operations

Experience with drug dispensing and controlled substances

Leadership or performance review rating (internal candidates)
