Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in district states.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Internal candidates: last performance review leadership score 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance for prescriptions.
• Oversees workflow, scheduling, and staff performance; ensures store operations meet company standards.
• Develops staff through training and formal performance reviews.
• Maintains required licensing and pursues ongoing professional development.
• Engages with local medical community to promote pharmacy services.
