Job summary

MedWiz Solutions, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead our pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory readiness, medication safety, and quality across the facility. You will partner with operational leaders to maintain safe, compliant services.

The role requires Illinois licensure, a PharmD or equivalent, and seasoned leadership with strong communication skills to guide pharmacists and technicians while maintaining records and policy adherence.

• Must demonstrate leadership and strategic thinking in a regulated pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff and leaders to uphold standards.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all pharmacist-in-charge responsibilities required by applicable law, regulation, licensure, and company policy.
• Oversee pharmacy practice standards, medication safety, controlled-substance accountability, required records, and regulatory readiness.
• Lead or support inspections, audits, quality events, corrective actions, policy implementation, and professional-practice issues.
• Provide professional leadership, guidance, feedback, and training to pharmacists, technicians, and other pharmacy personnel.
• Partner with facility operations leaders on staffing, workflow, performance, service, inventory, and risk management.
• Monitor pharmacy compliance, service, quality, and operational performance and address material gaps.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure required policies and procedures remain current and consistently followed.
