Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacists and pharmacy staff in serving the Mustang community. You will oversee patient care, dispensing, and immunization programs while driving service quality and regulatory compliance.

You will analyze data to improve pharmacy performance and outcomes, manage staff and operations, and contribute to community outreach initiatives. This role reports to Walmart Pharmacy leadership and offers opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or NABP/FPGEC equivalent.
  • Pharmacy license required by job entry date.
  • Immunization training (ACPE accredited) completed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescriptions.
  • Administer immunizations and participate in related programs.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, signage and inventory levels.

Our pharmacy team is dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care and ensuring the highest standards of service. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will lead the team to success and help Walmart improve community health and engagement.

What you'll do:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and other programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
  • Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs are resolved within company guidelines.
  • Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as good members of the community.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $197,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Preferred Qualifications
  • U.S. pharmacy related experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
