Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Fayetteville, NC to lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff and to provide exceptional patient care to the community.

You will dispense prescriptions, administer immunizations, manage pharmacy operations, and drive performance analytics while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role emphasizes community outreach and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD or equivalent FPGEC (NABP) required.
• Pharmacy license required by job entry date.
• Completion of ACPE accredited immunization training program.
• U.S. pharmacy-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, immunizations, and programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes.
• Oversee inventory, pricing accuracy, and proper signing to ensure optimal merchandising.
• Model and reinforce customer service approaches to resolve patient needs per company guidelines.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to engage with the community.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety/quality controls through analysis of reports.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and other programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
• Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
• Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs are resolved within company guidelines.
• Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as good members of the community.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.
