Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. You will mentor staff, manage staffing and performance, and partner with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional patient care and service.

You will oversee immunizations, drug therapy reviews, inventory management, billing, and clinical services, while improving efficiency and patient outcomes in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD; active pharmacist license in the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become within 90 days.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medications, interactions, and safety.
• Perform dispensing, drug therapy reviews, and medication management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee staffing and scheduling.
• Collaborate with store leadership on business opportunities and patient care.
• Maintain pharmacy IT systems, inventory, and billing accuracy.
