Supports the coordination of IV operations, including but not limited to the following: coordination and management of all inventory used in the cleanroom operations for the Main pharmacy and the Peds pharmacy satellite in support of the buyers; Environmental monitoring for all sites; all 503B inventory management and ordering including obtaining all appropriate quality reports and maintain quality profiles for all 503B sources; coordination with SDS for inventory management of CRRT bags and other IV fluids and supplies; coordination of IV room huddles at 0600 as needed; IV room representative on all drug shortage meetings; MSU TPA and KCentra training as requested; IV room scheduling in coordination with the pharmacy coordinator and Lead Compliance technician which includes the scheduling of Floor inspections; collaboration with Pharmacy Systems coordinator for Omnicell ; and collaborate with manager and Compliance Lead technician for all issues related to the IV room as required. IV room staffing and coverage for the IV Lead technician position will be required when needed.
