Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement in New York invites applications for a part-time Pharmacy Intern role. You will assist in filling and shipping prescriptions, handle customer service, operate the cash register, perform data entry, and help with inventory under a Pharmacist Preceptor.
Ideal candidates are enrolled in a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, have 1–3 years experience or coursework, and possess strong attention to detail and communication.

The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Intern is to accurately, and efficiently perform pharmacy functions which include filling and shipping prescription medications, customer service, cash register operation, data entry, and inventory put away when needed. Advanced responsibilities include ensuring accuracy when performing all duties associated with the dispensing of pharmaceuticals and providing customer service to patients and healthcare professionals under the supervision of a Pharmacist Preceptor.
1 to 3 years
Enrolled in year 1 or higher of a BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Other License(s): Licensure and/or certificate per state or federal requirements.
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $42.35
