Ingles Markets is seeking enthusiastic Pharmacy Interns to join our team while completing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education. You'll gain hands-on experience in patient care, prescription processing, immunizations, medication counseling, and pharmacy operations under licensed pharmacists.

Many interns transition into full-time Staff Pharmacist roles after graduation and licensure. You will work in a community pharmacy setting in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with mentors guiding you through

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
• Active Pharmacy Intern license (or eligible for licensure) in the state of employment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for helping patients improve their health.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing exceptional patient-centered care.
• Accurately prepare and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Assist with immunizations and clinical services as permitted by state law.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Support inventory management and medication ordering.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and store associates to deliver a positive patient experience.
