Job summary

Walmart invites applications for a Pharmacy student position at our Amarillo, TX location. The role supports pharmacy operations, processes prescriptions and OTC orders, stocks and maintains the pharmacy area, and assists customers while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and Walmart policies.

As part of the team, you will work under supervision to deliver customer service, handle merchandising duties, and participate in a busy retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Preferred: Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides Pharmacy products and services to customers in accordance with state and federal laws andCompany policies by assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders.
• Stocking and securing Pharmacy supplies and merchandise, stocking and organizing merchandise and paperwork.
• Maintains the Pharmacy area in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including handling claims and returns.
• Operates cash registers and processes customer purchases with appropriate payment procedures.
• Receives and stocks merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers and ensures a safe work environment.
