Walgreens in Missouri seeks a Pharmacist to provide medication counseling, immunization services, and comprehensive pharmacy operations support. You will ensure safe dispensing, drug interaction awareness, and patient education while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role includes optimizing workflow, managing inventory, and collaborating with care teams to enhance customer experience and health outcomes. A Pharm D and licensure are required, with immunizer certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding the effective usage of medications, awareness with drug interactions and offering preventive healthcare services such as immunizations.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, company policies and standards; assists with workflow and inventory management.
• Maintains current knowledge of information technology associated with pharmacy systems and supports staff.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance claims processing and follows up with insurers and providers.
• Delivers immunizations, counseling, and wellness services to customers.
• Partakes in community outreach and relationship building with medical professionals.
