Job summary

Stop & Shop in New York invites third-year pharmacy students to join our Pharmacy Intern program in a supportive, real-world setting. You’ll assist with prescription processing, patient counseling and immunizations under supervision, while gaining hands-on experience in a community pharmacy.

You bring enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy, eligibility to administer vaccines, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

• Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy program with vaccination eligibility.
• Valid Pharmacy Intern license in good standing with the state's Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in providing outstanding patient care under regulations.
• Assist with prescription processing, medication therapy management, and immunizations.
• Use pharmacy dispensing software to manage patient and medication information.
• Engage with customers, answer questions, help with product location and visits.
• Help maintain an organized, well-stocked pharmacy with inventory management.
• Support pharmacy team operations, including point-of-sale transactions and admin tasks.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive work environment.
• Participate in special assignments and learning opportunities as directed by the pharmacist.

Education
