Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our retail pharmacy team. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will contribute to patient safety, professional practice, and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional care to each patient.

Responsibilities include supporting inventory, workflow management, and customer service. Accepted into ACPE-accredited pharmacy programs; prior licensure steps as required; regular attendance, including weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Ability to attend regularly, including weekends; stand, lift, and move items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support patient safety and pharmacy practices.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist inventory management and workflow coordination (excluding final prescription verification).
• Lead with empathy and collaborate with the pharmacy team.
• Participate in patient care programs to promote health outcomes.
