Job summary

The Kroger Co. pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists in delivering safe, friendly patient care in a fast-paced store setting.

Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy and a current Pharmacy Intern license are required. You will input patient data, assist with immunizations under supervision, and support insurance processing while upholding Kroger’s Customer 1st values.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Dispense the correct medication.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Process third party insurance information for customers.
• Provide immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Assist with over the counter medications recommendations.
