Job summary

Walmart Durant is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You’ll support patient care, assist with processing prescriptions, and learn best practices in pharmaceutical care.

You’ll work under supervision in a fast-paced store environment, uphold HIPAA guidelines, stock merchandise, and engage with customers to promote health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program; pursuing licensure.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and PHI guidelines and patient confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn processing prescription and OTC orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing prescriptions and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing needs and guiding clinical therapies.
• Maintain inventory and stock pharmacy area; support distribution and purchases.
