Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Student Intern to support the Department of Pharmacy under supervision. The role focuses on preparing and distributing medications and IV solutions, under guidance of Clinical Pharmacists and Supervisors.
You will gain hands-on experience in medication preparation, labeling, repackaging, aseptic compounding, and OR kit support, while completing year-2 of an accredited pharmacy degree.

The Pharmacy student is under the general supervision of a Clinical Pharmacist while working. He/she is under the specific supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisors and Clinical Pharmacist Supervisors for the technical functions in the operation of the Department of Pharmacy. The primary responsibility in accordance to established policies and procedures is to prepare and distribute medications and IV solutions.

Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus
$21.00 - $21.00 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
