Job summary

CVS Health in Texas is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams, learn under a preceptor, and complete a 120‑day training roadmap. You’ll apply didactic learning to real‑world practice while ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

As you progress, you’ll take on greater accountability, assist with immunizations, counseling, and coordinating workflow under supervision, preparing you for a pharmacist role with emphasis on patient safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Active patient counseling and immunization support under supervision.
• Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain patient safety and quality assurance through SOP adherence.
