Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Pre‑Grad Intern for our pharmacy team in a community setting, where you will learn hands‑on patient care and support the safe delivery of pharmacy services. This paid placement emphasizes customer health and wellness while you gain experience in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy.

You will work to protect patient privacy, assist with prescriptions and OTC orders, and help patients navigate therapies, all while supporting inventory and daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program.
• Current immunization certification is required.
• License/permit to work as a Pharmacy intern.
• Pharmacy‑Based Immunization Delivery Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and records according to Company policies and applicable guidelines.
• Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Provide patient care by recognizing patient needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centres and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
