Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in the United States is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program within our stores. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Under supervision, you will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, participate in immunization activities where allowed, and develop clinical and customer

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly
• Learn SOPs and participate in a comprehensive training roadmap over 120 days
• Support immunizations and other clinical services where allowed by law and training
• Maintain patient safety and pharmacy standards under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Provide compassionate customer service and effective communication with patients and colleagues
