Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team in a part-time capacity. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver safe and effective care to patients, including patient safety, clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

You will participate in inventory and workflow management, patient service, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to promote better health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Regular attendance including weekends
• Mobility and ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and handle items safely

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy environment
• Maintain patient safety and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with pharmacy operations including inventory management and workflow coordination
• Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities
