Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a pharmacy intern in Brick, New Jersey, to join the pharmacy team part-time under licensed supervision. The role focuses on patient care, safety, and efficient workflows, with opportunities to grow professional skills.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in an ACPE-accredited PharmD program, with 0–3 years of relevant experience and valid intern licensure in progress. Regular attendance, immunization eligibility, and strong Microsoft Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Regular attendance including nights and weekends; ability to stand and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision in patient care programs and pharmacy operations.
• Support patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to inventory management and workflow support; exclude final prescription verification.
• Provide friendly customer service and health information to patients.
