Walgreens in San Francisco, CA seeks a Pharmacy Intern to learn patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and team, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processing prescriptions. You will model excellent service and adhere to regulations.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform tasks per SOPs for entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions, and assist with patient counseling and health services within state scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program and fluent in English.
• Willingness to work flexible evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in practice of pharmacy per state and company policy.
• Review and process prescriptions with Walgreen Co. SOPs for dispensing.
• Assist with patient counseling and health services within state scope of practice.
