Job summary

Walgreens in San Francisco, CA is seeking a pharmacy intern to assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team in accordance with state and federal regulations while learning to provide the best patient experience.

Under supervision, you will process prescriptions, support inventory, and contribute to customer service excellence as you complete required training and gain healthcare knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; (Puerto Rico exception).
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Engage customers to deliver a positive experience and answer questions.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations as needed.
• Adhere to state, federal, and Walgreens policies and procedures.
