Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team in a part-time capacity. The role includes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service under licensed pharmacist supervision.

Candidates must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, have 0–3 years of related experience, and possess or be pursuing intern/technician licensure. Regular weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, and bag items

Responsibilities

Lead with Heart and deliver compassionate care to patients and customers.
Collaborate with pharmacists to support safe and effective pharmacy operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices.
Provide excellent customer service and patient education.
Assist with inventory management and workflow optimization excluding final prescription verification
