Job summary

CVS Health in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team part-time. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver compassionate patient care, support safety, and maintain regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes patient safety, inventory and workflow management, and customer service, with opportunities to contribute to immunization efforts as regulations permit.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Ability to attend regularly including weekends
• Mobility and ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Visual acuity to perform tasks and read materials

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe and effective Retail Pharmacy operations under licensed pharmacist
• Support patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and customer service
• Manage inventory and workflow to ensure efficient service
• Participate in patient care programs and immunization activities where permitted
