Qualifications

• Must have or be able to receive a pharmacy intern license.
• No federal sanctions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty.
• Help prepare hard copy insurance claims.
• Obtain approval for refill prescriptions from physicians.
• Counsel patients on medications with a pharmacist's guidance.
• Promote immunizations in store and with local employers.
• Answer patient questions in the OTC aisles.
• Support Medication Therapy Management activities.
• Educate at community gatherings.
• Make antibiotic callbacks to patients after 3 days.
