Community Care Services is seeking a pharmacy intern who actively participates in the drug distribution system and collaborates with pharmacists to provide clinical services for patients in the assigned area. Interns work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in accordance with Michigan law.
The position is within the Outpatient Pharm Support Center with rotating shifts, and applicants must be enrolled in or graduated from a College/School of Pharmacy and licensed as a Pharmacy
GENERALSUMMARY: The pharmacy intern actively participates in all aspects of the drug distribution system and works with pharmacists in providing clinical services for patients in his/her assigned area. In accordance with Michigan law, interns always work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Must be enrolled or a graduate from a school or college of Pharmacy. Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Intern by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
