Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Infusion Care Prior Authorization Specialist to support payer authorizations across infusion services. You will obtain prior authorizations, verify patient information, and coordinate with multiple sites to ensure timely patient access.

The role requires strong communication, experience with payer requirements, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Cerner/Soarian, Outlook, and MS Word.

Receive calls from new patients and referral sources and document all customer communications. Maintain a broad knowledge base concerning insurances, payor policies, and prescription medication in order to assist with the verification of insurance coverage for patients by obtaining all necessary information. Identifies patients who require authorization for all infusion services. Coordinates intake and authorizations for multiple sites as assigned.
